On-the-Job Training in FAO Investment Centre in Rome
In order to gain hands-on experience in investment programming, three Bangladesh Government staff will join the FAO Investment Centre for a period of approximately 3 months. The FAO Investment Centre (TCI) helps countries make effective investments in agriculture and rural development that result in sustained food security and reduced poverty.
The intended outcome of the training is for participants to gain a deeper, immersive understanding of investment programming best practices and to apply this new knowledge to their roles in Bangladesh. Throughout the training experience, they will work with an advisor from the Investment Centre who will involve them in a specific assignment relevant to the investment programming cycle. The participants will develop concrete action plans demonstrating how they will disseminate and apply their new knowledge upon returning to their positions in Bangladesh.
